Hello All,
REM on a sunday!!!!
Track was old school moto with only a few jumps and a million chop bumps! I know I hit most of them!
The weather was perfect moto weather without a breath of wind. Track was prepped well for a good day of moto! Practices went off as scheduled and ran really smooth all morning. Track got rough really quick and had a up hill that got cut with a inside line that had allot of people in interesting situations. I saw at least 10+ not make it and I won't mention any names ( Pit Stop, RedRider) Those aren't their names! I tried to watch the motos but couldn't keep track of the finishes due to me racing two classes. I will say Rodney is a old school moto guy and rode like a hero, My poor friend Jeff Hamblin was a little green around the gills but still put in the effort. Tom Ernsdorf rode well except for his run in with a certain hill!!!!! Bruce rode like a man on a mission in one moto I saw and battle with a KTM rider from OTMX tooth and nail! He was airing it out over the hill coming back and look great doing it! Tim Cauby had a hop off and smacked his finger but is OK! A big shout out to Spills who even though he is on the injured list after a get off made a appearance to root the club on! I think that puts him in the running for sportsman of the year!!! Chuck Cook made his return to racing and looked good doing so, welcome back to the business end of motocross Chuck! I know there was more and am sorry to all those I missed, find me and mention your day to get in notable quotables at the next race.
I almost forgot to mention Larry Layle ounce again put on a riding lesson which I am trying to take note of. Our first moto was good for the group bad for me. Riding the 125 and the 450 messes with me a little bit. I rode my 450 like a 125 and about fell over in every turn that first moto. The second moto was a better story for me! My friend Alex Mansfield had a get off but was OK to race! (Hope your going to Tulare Alex) Mr Rick (I like to ride sideways Aldrich) HEHE Love ya Rick was on hand but is having arm pump issues at this time. He rode smart and saved it for the next race. The 125 support was allot of fun! I rode with all the kids and had to laugh when a few of them made fun of my 125 on the line that then holeshoted both motos!!!! One last thing I need to mention Rodney and Chris Rice are starting a new group called the Cue Ballers just look for those all White helmets at a race near you.
Until next time ride train and have fun!!!!

Dallas, Thanks for the recap and nice words (I cannot live up to them but thanks!)...
I see you like our group the "Cue Ballers"... It makes us easy to find on the track and minimizes the heat.
I am really looking forward to Tulare... Jeff and I are focused and we are going to have a great (top 5 10 5) first moto (unlike our previous national attempts)!

Dallas good times and great write up. The only thing is I made all the hills and didnt go down once all day. Not bad for a 5 week layoff I guess. But you meant I was probably a little squirelly up the hill and that is t he truth. Can't complain about the 2/1 for the day though. See you at Tulare DC!!!!
Dallas great recap on the day. Keep em comming, that was good stuff. My knuckle and pinky finger are pretty swollen but with Duct tape I will be ready for Tulare. Hope to see you up there. You have inspired me to up my training program and work off my 12pk abs. See Ya . TC
