New years Glen Helen GP December 29, 2019
Hello gang members,
In memory of Kyle Yarnell who passed away.
Glen Helen (Lori) is interested in holding a memorial race on December 29.
Over the Hill gang members as a club are being offered a premium racing slot at 10 AM.
Here is a tentative schedule please post ASAP if you are interested and then I will confirm with Glen Helen for our racing slot .
No points No scorekeepers other than GH scorekeepers
Bike Practice 8am-8:45am
Quad and UTV Practice 12pm-12:30
Race
#1 9am +60, +50, +40 , +30 All Skills
#2 10am OTHG /OTMX
#3 11am 450,250 ,125.85 All Skills
#4 12:45 Quads All Skills
#5 1:30 UTV All
Peewee Races – Peewee Track 10:30
50cc, 65cc only!!
We would be using the main track, truck track and the REM track and if we've had some moisture, we will be using the hills.
Remember if you came to the earlier GP in 2019. You'll remember it was fun course up in the hills and back around to the tracks.

Good idea Mike, I am pretty sure that the old-timers accepted and we will be combined with them on the starting line.
The flyer is in progress and as soon as it's done, I'll get it posted.

Uh, per the Glen Helen website this race is on Dec 15th
Let me clarify there is a Xmas GP on the 29th, but the Kyle Yarnell memorial race is on Dec 15th along with the SRA GP. I will be doing the memorial team race

Yes, that seems to be the case on how things developed over the last week that the Kyle Yarnell Memorial will be a team race.
I will be there this weekend for this race, also.

We will have the 2nd start time at Glen Helen GP Sunday .
Be ready for 10 am start time.
December 29th.
Should be a lot of fun!

With this being the sole event at Glen Helen this weekend and the recent rain I am expecting a stellar track layout. They normally throw in at least one of the ridgelines and use a lot of real estate for the track. Should be a great one!
