For those of you who have not gone to this make sure to dress for all 4 seasons over the years I have seen it be 80 degrees one day rain and snow the next and the sunny and warm the day after this is one not to miss and the dinner is off the hook see yah there 8) ;D

I am planning to hike up to the Palisades glacier area Near big Pine On May 21, 22nd and 23rd. On the 23rd 24th and 25th hike up to the champion spark plug mine in the White Mountains (California) behind laws Museum near Bishop. If anybody's interested in doing either or both of these two Hikes before Fernley, let me know. I did the hike to the champion spark plug mine with Danny and we got to about 9000 feet and we needed to use ropes (which we didn't have) to continue further up. So , were going back this year with ropes to make the final ascent. It's a great climb and there is a base camp at 8000' with water, housing, museum , showers etc.
