Whenever anyone talks about safety the first thing we see are folks giving the eye roll response. Yes you can sometimes get away with taking a safety shortcut while working on your bike. However after some 40+ years as a mechanic I can promise you it is only a matter of time until Murphy will see that safety shortcut your doing and rush right over to fish in your pond.
