Why was Milestone a Double points race? did I miss this announcement on the home page? is this a series race? is 333 Double points?

Early in the year, we decided that we would offer two double points races in 2017. Milestone was the first of two. The second one will take place at LACR on 9-17-2017. Which also happens to be the 9-11 Memorial race as well as the National warm up race.
These races were announced at the general membership meeting that took place at LACR on Jan 28th and also posted in the mins which were placed on the forum.
