Many of you may know the Neitzel family since they have been riding with us for quite some time? Samantha the favorite gate girl at LACR went down hard and needs your prayers and assistance.
Samantha is slowly but surely making steps in her recovery. She is going through occupational therapy now to help her be able to feed herself, brush her own teeth, and so on.
Samantha spent 11 days in the ICU and now she will remain in the PCU until she is able to be transferred to a recovery facility specializing in brain injuries. Samantha has a long road of recovery head of her, she will likely be in the recovery facility for about a month. From there she will have the surgery to replace the part of her skull that brain surgeon took out and then she will need months of outpatient therapy.
Samantha does have insurance but as you all know insurance only covers a portion of things like this. She is a full-time dental student and also works part-time at LA County Raceway. Her father will be able to cover her day-to-day bills from here on out but her medical bills continue to stack up.
A GoFundMe account has been set up in Samantha's name. If there's any way you can help her out we would greatly appreciate it.

OTHG is going to hold a special raffle at LACR and will be raffling off a set of O’Neil Gear on Dec 6th for everyone that contributes to Samantha’s GoFundMe Account.
All you need to do is print and bring your GoFundMe receipt to the membership table where I will be and you will receive a raffle ticket or if you prefer you can contribute on race day and receive a raffle ticket. All proceeds with be deposited into Samantha’s account.

I'm in. Who's going to join in on this great cause with all that have already donated? Any amount that you can donate will help this young girl. We all know that the sport of MX that we all love and enjoy can have its dark days. And, we all know that we could find ourselves in this very same situation.
So ask yourself, if this happened to me would people donate to help me and my family? You never want to be the person that people do not care about! Let's show the MX community that the OTHG Family is the Premier Vet Motocross Club on and off the track!!!! Make it happen!
