Arch, looking for some clarification on the "two races" required to race a national. Is that in the past 12 months or in a calander year? Just curios 8)

National Rule Book = 2. Riders must have 2 races in the class they enter at the national within the last year.
a.If a rider moves up in age class but stays in the same skill level and has ridden at least 2 races within the calendar year, the rider is not required to reclassify (eval) under the
new age class.
Bay Entry = OTHG BY-LAWS STATE YOU MUST HAVE COMPETED IN 2 OTHG LOCAL RACES IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS OR 4 IN THE PAST 2 YEARS

Gary that's a great question that has two answer.
1. If you a new member you must have completed the 2 race evaluations in order to race a National
2. Current member need to have raced a minimum of 2 races in the last 12 months.
So in your case, although you only have 2 races this year, with us both in Feb 2015 you would qualify to race a National. 😉

Maybe I'm looking to hard? 😉

Nope, it would not be in our by laws as they gave the National rules to the National Committee dudes. It should be in the National rulebook but the last version we have seen is from 2012.
You need to find out who the National Committee dudes are and have then update and publish a 2015 National rulebook. But.......good luck with that.
