I tried out my new Twisted Engineering carbon fiber handle bars out yesterday, one word AWESOME!!!
I've been fighting a gimpy left shoulder for a few years now and noticed that flat landings or shorted jump face's are not my friend. By lap three I'd be riding with a dead left wig.
I can't believe what little discomfort I'm in this morning. I really felt great on the bike yesterday. I truly believe these bars may have saved my season. I'm not sure I would have been able to make it through the season without them.
They have three different flex ratings, and three different bends, I chose the greatest flex of the three.
Check them out here: http://twistedengineering.com/

Looks pretty cool and applicable to our aging bodies!  Nice review. 🙂

On the side bar:
After breaking both my wrists and collar bone back 2002, I rode with flexbars for about a year and a half ... they helped in the same way by taking the static shock out of riding!

What flex level did you get? Flex 1, 2, or 3? And was the bend you purchased similar to the bend it was supposed to correspond to? I'm curious, as I'd like to possibly invest in these due to wrist issues but the cost is substantial...

I got the x3 the softest one the bend is Kevin Windam I no longer have to get shots in my spine these are truly a great product they blow fast flex away because the bars move in all directions and you do not feel it when you are riding take about 2-3 weeks to get them well worth the money

I to went with the #3 flex rating and Windam bend. As for being the same as other Mfg. Windam bend I can't comment, I just don't know.
