Eric, that place doesn't handle rain very well, it will be under water if we get what is forcasted.

Stop listening to the dumb weather guy and look out your window. Lancaster rarely gets soaked.

We'll need a weather watcher to help make the call ya or nay on race day.. No one wants to travel that far to hear nay last minute..

I live 8 miles from the track. It is true we rarely see the rain as forecasted, but when we do get even a moderate amount, that track floods and is a sticky gooey mess.

Glad we have someone close to the track, I'm down in Aqua Dulce and in a completely different weather pattern.

If the weatherman is right...
There will be 27 hours of rain starting midnight on Friday ending with light showers at 3 AM Sunday morning.

My weather  prediction is for light rain Friday thru Saturday tapering off early Saturday nite and leaving the track in epic racing conditions.....Remember it only rains on our side of the mountain not on the other side.......my .02cents

It rained here last night but nothing to be concerned about. I drove by the track at 4:30 yesterday afternoon and the track crew were making preparations to the track for the rain, they were still out there at 8pm when I drove home too. Skys are supposed to open up at about 3am tomorrow morning. If it does end up raining all day tomorrow I may run down to the track and check it out after work.

As I have said in the past. AV can take more water then most tracks. Like 2013 season opener rained for 3 says before the 1st race which was at AV. The track was epic. Give it a break. Dont give up before the weekend gets here

Just plan on going because its gonna be epic again. If it is raining just come over to my camp. We will have plenty of ezups.
