Well Flinders went 1st in the 38 Int. class
I had a horrible weekend but still managed to bring home 2nd place in the 45 Int. class
Allman won 1st in his class and not to sure of the others.

I had a great weekend.  Went 1-1 on sat and 1-1 on sun.  PLUS I got all 4 holeshots.  It was a wonderful weekend of riding for me.

* Ben was in contention for #2 over-all...but not sure how it all paned out in the end 😀
*I went 3-2-2-6 I think 4th over-all..I was spent...one of the ladies was kind enough to remind me of my age....well I felt every bit of it Sunday moto 4! 😮 :-* 😀

I think the south did a great job challenging the rest of the gang on their home track!  I liked the track the weather was perfect in the mid 70s with a nice breeze... track got ruff, and dried way out Sunday afternoon...I hate a dry track!  But all-n-all it was a wonderful weekend no serious injuries this year...Very nice after the carnage of last year!! 

*12 Ladies in the women A/B class!!!!  Nice to race with the girls they had their moto on for sure!!!

Thank you Bay Chapter for hosting a successful, fun event....I think it will be hard to beat the grand prize they raffled off...!!!!

Great weekend, great weather.  I have always loved Hollister.
The 52 Nov. was all about #3G. 😮  Ben went 3-3 on Sat. and 2-2 on Sun. for 2nd overall for the weekend.  Congrats Ben  :-*.
Gene Foster, Art and I had some real fun battling in the top five positions.  Gene ended up 3rd, I ended up 4th and Art held down 5th.
I took home a National trophy for the first time after racing with the club for 14 years.  Has hell frozen over?

929G had a rough weekend.  Blow out on the freeway towing a 40 ft. 5th wheel.  Crashed hard his 1st moto on Sun. and still went out and rode hard in moto two.  Mike C. is one tough dude, I would have been in a lawn chair drinkin' a beer.  *Thanks for the hospitality.

A few more notes on the weekend:

The 45 Intermediate class was a wonderful thing to watch in spite of the moto 3 carnage.  Chris Cumbo rode fast and solid all weekend and his consistency paid off with a well-earned 5th overall, on a two-stroke.  In spite of the knobby marks all over his body Mike Cosaert toughed it out and I think he ended up 6th in the most competitive class of the event.  Blake picked himself up after that crash on Sunday and still got 2nd overall.  Great rides for all the G's.  This was a very competitive four motos.
A hard-earned 2nd place to a south guy who wastes no vowels, James Van Duinwyk, in the 38 Beginner class.
Ian Stanton was steady and fast for a 3rd place in the 45 Beginner class and looked great doing it.  I am sure he helped our VP get home also.
Brian Allman has a way of making it look tough but he owned his class on Sunday at Hollister.  Nice riding by the man wearing the biggest necklace south of North Beach.
The South Ladies showed some moxie and Linda kept the other chapters honest while Marion won every moto under pressure every inch of the way.
The Friday night jam fest with Lester was fun as always and then on Saturday night it all moved to the Lombardo Moto Lounge.  We were all disciples as Lori held court and presided over the best group of G-Racers around an illegal campfire since Jim Pierce's pants caught fire at Glen Helen in 1999.  Just kidding about that part, but I did witness some real cool South Chapter people having a great time and thanks to Jon and Lori for that.
The South National is next and if you have ever run a "G" on your number plates, you need to be there.

Thanks for coming out folks it was a hoot!  I think I liked the track the other way better but it was something different and worth a try.  We appreciate your support, and everyone is getting amped up to get down there and do it again.  Cya soon 56b
