Thanks guys! I plan on towing down I5 on Thursday and spending the weekend at the track in the toy hauler. Any tips on water fill up points, travel routes, parking spots greatly appreciated!

Been watching gopro vids of the track - looks like a lot of fun - fast with some killer hills. I'm old and slow but I will give it 100% and have a good time!

Hammer you better be training
I'm blasting the Rocky music and hitting the cardio hard.
Popoff the Mad Russian is making the Trip in our class
I MUST BREAK Him 😉
I think I've passed him 3 times racing and GH is two of those.

Easily my Fav race of the year even after cussing the downhills.
Fun Raffle and good food.

FYI.

Mike,

You are welcome to stay over night and RV/ camp at the Glen Helen track on Sunday and enjoy a peaceful evening.
Drive home on Monday.
It is so much easier than trying to push home on Sunday after racing.
We did that at Hollister and really enjoyed the evening after we spent so much time setting up on Friday/Saturday before the race.

4 miles roadwork yesterday moring, an hour of weights this AM, MTB tomorrow AM for an hour.  My fitness is great - I'm not tired at all after 6 laps. I wish we did 8 or 9 to weed out the weak. 😉

My technique is what's hurting me now. I wish that was as easy to fix as the fitness part. 🙂 I'm riding Riverfront practice on Sunday and racing there next weekend. Then Hangtown hills to get ready for Glen Helen's.

C u at Riverfront Tim?

Thnks Chris - it's a long haul and I know I'll be dead tired after Sunday! We stayed over Sunday night at Fernley this year and it was a lot of fun.

No Riverfront for me. We're hitting practice at 408.
Then working some Tulare midweek in.
Club Moto was a blast yesterday.
Great job on the fitness I'm doing the same and the payoff is nice for all the work.
