What a super fun track, as a long time lover of the Glen, I've always wished that they would utilize the infield more like they used to. Huge thanks to the track builders and the powers that be for putting on a great event. Now if they could just bring back Bud's creek  ;D. What a weekend Saturday watching REM (might have to do that next time) and the trucks, ate the Viva Grande at the mexican resturant for dinner (disclaimer on the menu says "you better be hungry"). Four motos on Sunday, and monday off,  some one pinch me I think I'm dreaming. Thanks to all who work so hard so I can live my dream.

It was a great weekend. I have to say that 45 Int class is a good one. I think we had seventeen guys in the class. Other then 1st and 2nd everyone was very close in time. Thanks to everyone that came out, hope to see you all again next weekend at Lake Elsinore.

Yesterday was epic.....

Thanks to all that came out for both clubs, it was great to see everyone together.

This year is starting out very well, lets keep moving forward, pushing membership, and continue with the fun and safe racing.

Once again, thank you everyone.....

Hey Chuck,
Let me start by saying that it was nice to see you, it has been way too long. Hanging out at the Oasis on Saturday night was nothing short of interesting.
The layout on Saturday was old 1990's Glen Helen and everyone there loved how the track flowed. Fortunately, with the help of Kurt and the folks at Glen Helen we were able to keep that track layout for Sunday.
The track prep was great and the track held up rather well for the amount of riders.
I hope everyone enjoyed it, I know I did.
Thanks to everyone that came out and supported the club, we had a great turnout and the racing went smooth.

Jason, funny but that left out of the canyon gave me trouble during practice also. In my second class practice I went back and did it over and over again. That turn, took some work to get it right especially when you're in that long left hand rut... Great racing I believe you got a first overall. What a great battle you had with Coughlin and Nemecek. You came from behind in the first Moto and in the second Moto you were right up there in the mix of fastest starters.

What a great day it was with excellent turnout and track conditions, weather. Perfect Moto weather. Great racing. Great bunch of guys. The oasis was going on Saturday night. Big thanks to Mike Long for helping out with the announcing. Big thanks to Marty Highland for helping out with the transponders, starting gate, etc.thanks to Diane and Haley for helping out with the trophies and transponders.

Have to agree. Great weekend. Perfect racing weather, loved the track although it didn't love me back. I've already experienced the highs (2nd @ AV) and lows (2nd to last @ GH) and we're only 2 races in. Going to be a long and fun year. And yes Mike, our class is solid.

I'd have to second that about the weather...perfect for moto especially since they barely had to water, always a plus.  @chris11g, for some reason my bike wouldn't shift into 5th (probably had it wrapped to hard) during the first start, made sure not to do that again.  Was the first time I've raced since the second to last DITD at LACR (really bummed about that track closing).  Don't know if I'm going to be able to make it out to Elsinore so happy moto'ing to everyone.  I'll be back for eval ride number two ASAP  ;D

Jason,
Check out the video Wesley put up about riding ruts ,on the home page. Before it is replaced with a new technique. These are the same techniques I learned when I went through the Gary Semics motocross school for two days. They were big on always dragging the front brake . When you get it right it's so sweet.Good ride again at Glen Helen it was fun watching you.Just a few seconds ahead of the 45 intermediates best times.
