2012 OTHG Motion Two Thread - Move Downs

COMING OFF INJURIES or DROPPING TO A LOWER SKILL LEVEL: Riders who come back from injuries or long layoff (1) One year or more, will be allowed to participate in a lower class for four (4) races, with the Race Director's approval, and display the OTHG-provided red “E” sticker on all three number plates for the four races to let other riders in the class know the individual is being re-evaluated and is not currently in contention for a podium position and will receive (minimum points) 25 points.
Riders that choose to race nationals during this four race period may only race national races in their original class. (not in the lower class)

After the completion of the four races, and if the rider still feels he / she still isn’t ready to return to their original higher classification. The rider must petition the race director to remain in the lower class, earning minimum points (25) per race. If at any time during the granted extension of E-Val status the rider receives a trophy, the rider in question will automatically return to their original higher classification.
