Well folks, we've just about put a wrap on another great season of racing. I hope you've all enjoyed it as much as I have. Good friends, good times and great racing all make for life long memories. I know I'll never forget... 🙂
In celebration of all our riders that attended the races in 2011 as well as the people behind the scenes that made it all happen, it's almost time for our annual OTHG Awards Banquet. This year the banquet will take place at the Ontario Hilton on January 14th, 2012. Be sure to mark your calendars! This is an off weekend for Anaheim Supercross, so don't worry, we won't make you have to choose between the two. ;D Room reservations are available for $89 but you must follow the instructions on the flyer below to get the special OTHG rate.
Please download and print the following flyer. Remove the bottom portion, fill it out and mail it back in to be registered for the event.

Hey Gang,
It's time to get your banquet RSVP in.
The banquet is the membership's opportunity to honor the 2011 board. So much of what they have done for us goes unnoticed throughout the year. This is their chance to kick off their shoes and relax and have fun. We need to be there to support them.

Thanks Pete. But if I may, I'd like to offer a slight correction to what you wrote...
The banquet is not about honoring the 2011 board, it is about honoring all of YOU. YOU are what makes the club what it is, not the board. If it weren't for YOU, there would be no banquet...there would be no OTHG. It is your die hard commitments to racing throughout the year that keeps this club going. Wherever you placed and whatever achievements you made, YOU earned it!! As board members it is our duty to provide you with a banquet that properly honors all of YOU. Each and every one of you that either raced or supported the club this year should be proud...because it is YOU that makes the OTHG what it is.
It's hard for me to adequately describe how much I look forward to handing out jackets and awards and shaking each one of your hands. For me, this is the highlight of being on the board...making people smile and giving back to those who have given so much.
Thank you all for a great 2011 season! It's been an honor for me to be on the board these past 3 years and even more so to be your president this year. I hope you all can make it to the banquet because I look forward to seeing each and every one of you.
