I would like to put this in a motion. By combining the 30/38+ as 1 this will benefit all the riders in more ways than 1.
1. It will give riders some one to race with and increase each class. "Bigger gates per class".
2. These classes will also have more of a chance to hit there class minimums. " meaning more points"
3. Also increase gates at nationals so it will feel like a National.
4. It will help draw in more membership.
Right now as the economy is getting worse its time to make changes to help bring back and bring in more members. Remember 45+ and 52+ will not change cause these are the strongest classes this club has so no need to change.. It can always go back when or if things get better..

As a 30 year old I would welcome this change. Hopefully being one day late won't hinder it from being voted on.

so i guess that combing younger faster riders with older slower ones is a good thing!!!!
why don't we just put the 45 and 52 in the class with 30/38?
why don't we take the fun out of racing with your own age group right out of the equation..

This is the problem with a lot you guys. You think the younger guys are always faster and thats far from the truth.. Iv'e had my ass handed to me by guys that are 20 yrs older than me. If you read a post in the other topic there is a guy in the 30 beg class who has to gate with you and he says that he has a blast racing with the older guys and has fun battles on the track. Age is just a number in these age groups.. If you like racing by yourself Rodger thats cool but many more don't.. If you don't help build these age groups then they wont exist.. Like i have mentioned more riders more fun.. ;D ;D

Well we have 3 of us so far that like this change. Its myself , viva la Vegas, and sceblack445. There is still time to get this through on to the ballot..

I'm 30 and I'm totally cool with it. It would be nice to have more people. I almost never have anyone in the 30 beg gate, and when I do they are usually like 25 seconds faster than me, so I generally chop it up more with the 38 class anyway. It seems like a good idea to me, but that is only for my own personal gains.

I agree with Cherie. It is way more fun to have more in your class. This would also affect me but you already knew that Eric.
