A big thanks to the South chapter for an excellent event. The track was fantastic, the event ran smooth and fun. You guys rocked it! Loved the racing even though I didn't do as well as I thought I could. I don't think there are many parts on me that aren't stiff or tender today, but the grin on my face makes it all worth it. All in all you guys deserve all the respect for a great weekend. Can't wait to see you guys in Tulare!

some good racing in the kids support...ethan went down in moto 1 but was holding a 3rd.not bad for not riding or racing more than 3 xs this year  and on a 4stroke now.

some great riding by by both coasarts..jake was on fire...wow he is starting to ride like his dad............great racing by the both of you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had an awesome time this weekend! It was great to see my OTHG family again. I am finally healed up and I think I showed that this weekend. Thanks to everyone who helped out on putting together another great south national. I also hoped you all enjoyed my goon riding style as much as I did! lmao

Jeff H., great job coming back off injury.  You were riding really good for just getting back to it....  I know that I was struglling a little, and I think I had been back on the bike longer than you had, and my injury wasn't nearly as severe.  You'l be at full speed in no time.

It was really nice to meet you Karen  (Mx Wife.... )

Had a Great battle with Pete 516g in Moto 1 Sunday, bringing back memories from the Intermediate class last year at Tulare before I got hurt...lol..

Lots of fun, and you guys did a great job...  Thanks again for all the hard work.  Can't wait to come back next year.  Hopefully we'll all be back to full speed and healthy at the Oatfied in April... 🙂

The state of OTHG
After national #4 I can say that all the great things about the OTHG are alive and well. The South did an outstanding job as always providing us with an exceptional track, a terrific bbq, and some good old southern hospitality. A big thank you for having it at Glen Helen again, motocross at its finest. I saw people helping each other every day, from fixing a flat tire on a truck, to loaning a wheel and tire to a competitor, to refilling a water supply so showers could be had before the ride home. Some very competitive races from front to back of most classes. Yes a couple classes had the usual runaways but overall it was a great weekend to ride a dirt bike. It was nice to meet some new folks from the South and get their perspective on how things are working down there. I have over 2500 pictures to go through and a lot of video footage. Hopefully I can get it done before the Valley national. Thank you South chapter for a great weekend!
