Turns out the fatality at Starwest last week was a friend of mine. Didn't even know he rode MX.
All I can get from the news is he was killed "trying to land a jump".
Was anyone there? Anyone heard what happened?

Found out from mutual friends that he actually broke his neck about a year ago, and was told to stop riding. @#)$@* idiot.

sorry for your friend eviljester..........I agree with Ray.........I personally have not been told to stop riding..... if and when it does happen I will not stop riding just go slower and keep all the gang friends that I have so far made........ ;D ;D ;D

Luckily, I already ride as slow as possible . . . so injuries shouldn't really slow me down. 😛
