Hey Linda and Jim,

I just checked and there is no practice this weekend at Glen Helen.  I have decided to go to Perris ...just to get some time on the bike.  If you and any one else wants to come out this Sat. to Perris....Lets do it.

Call me 310-916-4097

Hey Wes,

Looks like I won't be able to make it Sat - We are going to run out to Del Amo Motorsports for the sidewalk since we will be at Glen Helen during the Chap sale. I may take Anthony and hit Perris on Sunday in the morning. I will give you a call either tonight or tomorrow.

Went to Perris ....Great day ... the track was challenging..great work out ... Hope everyone had a good day ...Jim are you going to Perris tomorrow?  If so take some slow laps at first ...this track can jump up and bite you but once you have it down it flows great...I will see everyone at GH

Does anyone know how rents Funmovers and if they do ...are there any available for this weekend???

Thanks,

Wes

What national rule?

Lets be clear on this. That is not a rule nor is it in the bylaws. Therefore its not a rule..  Plus that "rule" that doesn't exist can also be taken advantage of very easily. Thats why it should never become a rule no matter what..

No Bump ups after the 3rd national  ::), come on Eric you were at the meeting.

I can definitely understand the not bumping down after the 3rd National, but as to the not being bumped up....Huh???  ??? ??? ???

I'll try to explain as best as I can.  It's obvious that this is not clear.

For several years now the northern chapters have requested that we do not bump riders who are doing the national series after the 3rd national.  The reason for this is that the rider being bumped can adversely effect the class he's being moved into.  The rider being bumped carries his points with him into the new class and can in some cases tie the leader (he is not allowed to exceed the leader of the class he is being bumped into).  This can create an unfair situation to those who raced in that class since the beginning of the national series.

With the 3rd national coming much later this year (beginning of September rather than June) we said we would try to honor that request and bump up any riders that needed to be prior to Hollister.  This of course does not apply to anyone who is NOT doing the nationals...those riders can be bumped at any time.

Of course, this is all at the discretion of the race director...there are never any guarantees.  This was an attempt to honor a request from our northern chapters, not a hard and fast rule.

Does this make things any more clear?  I am not asking you to agree with it because I know many of you will not, I am just trying to explain the situation.
