Jeff, I thought we stopped having open practice with the "Oldtimer's" after LACR a few years ago?

Not sure Bob...as long as the two race directors work it out then it should be okay.

I think mixed, open practice did stop for awhile.
But memories are short and although we still cherish Mark's memory I think the memory of the tragedy that took him has faded.

This is a dangerous sport, accidents will happen and as long as everyone uses their head I don't think mixed open practice should be any more dangerous than class practice.

agreed, I don't like mixing beg with novice...novice forget they are out there with beg, and folks get mad; others get hurt....never mind open practice...nearly lost my husband because of an open practice....no ones fault...guy clears big jump, cant see whats at the other side...a beg...wham....Mike's life's changed forever....hard lesson to learn, wish someone had said."not a good idea"  Stay out of the open practices...now we know!!!!!

Please all, take care....
