Although the photos are from a previous event, they still represent the evening events...

Kon wasn't feeling any pain last night, but not so sure about this morning.  I think he gave notice he was going to live it up at the banquet, because he was getting serious about getting the number one plate back.  Congrats to all the 2009 riders, family, board members, scorekeepers, and volunteers for "one last rodeo" before the 2010 season begins...

Special thanks to Gus and Capt Blix for bringing the Yukon that a few will definitely feel like they've been run over today.  It will be a painful flight back tonight and day at work tomorrow -- but wouldn't change a thing!

Franck showed just how special earning the number one plate can be and gave tribute to Carl who was instrumental in getting him to join the club...

With the banquet now history, here's to looking forward to the 2010 season.  Congrats to the new board and an "in advance" thanks for all you do.  Different thoughts, opinions, values, beliefs, etc = diversity.  The "passion" for racing and the club is often a source of emotion and disagreement, but just like family, disagreement often occur, but family needs to be quick to move past their differences.

35 years and still going -- long live the OTHG!  It's a great group of people worth the trip, now matter where one's from!
