Why I'm running for president

I decided to run for president for one reason and one reason only, to give back to the club. The opportunity to be part of a team of board members who have the goal and drive to see this club into the future , is an unique opportunity . Having said that I believe no one person is this club, this club is two hundred something strong and is a part of each of us who make it so. As President I will strive to always put the interests of the club before my personal wants and  beliefs. I know that these are very challenging  times for all of us, my one of my  goals is to get more of the members out to the races. Another is to promote the club, as president I will dedicate myself to rebuilding , maintaining and developing  good working relationships with track owners promoters and other clubs.
I'm not going to try to reinvent the wheel, I will rely on what the membership wants to guide my direction and work with the other board members to achieve what is best for the club.
