Phil hang in there..hope all goes well.

I just got a text from him if he would have been a horse your dog would have been eatin him!! It was Bad, he all good he goes home noon tomorrow. He is at Torrance monaural hospital text or call him.

Just talk to spills and he going home around noon or so. It was a 3.5 hour surgery and they repaired all tendons and ligaments on the outer part of left knee and some on the inner side including ACL. Plus they had to re-attach bicep femoris muscle to the bone.

THANKS TO ALL.... ITS ABOUT 4:30PM AND I AM AWAITING DISCHARGE THEY SAY ROUND 6PM... I WALKED AROUND TODAY WITH A WALKER BUT PREFER THE CRUTCHES... THEY HAVE ME HOOKED UP TO A MACHINE WHICH MECHANICALLY BENDS MY KNEE 60+ DEGREES WHILE IM LYING IN BED...I STILL HAVE DROP FOOT (LEFT) BECAUSE THE PERONEAL NERVE WHICH RUNS AROUND AND DOWN THE KNEE TO THE TOP OF THE FOOT WAS STRETCHED AND THIS NERVE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ONE BEING ABLE TO LIFT THEIR FOOT UPWARD. I CAN PUSH DOWN JUST CANT PULL UP AT THIS POINT. THE DOC SAYS IT TAKES TIME FOR THE NERVE TO HEAL FROM THE TRAUMA OF BEING STRETCHED LIKE THAT. I HAVE TINGLING SENSATION IN THAT AREA WHICH IM TOLD IS A GOOD SIGN OF THE NERVE TRYING TO WAKE UP.... ITS IN GODS HANDS SO I KNOW IM GOOD.... ONCE AGAIN THANKS TO MY EXTENDED FAMILY FOR HELPING ME WITH ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS......... PEACE

wow, Phil!!  Thank you for the update, I was wondering about your foot!! Rodney told us about the ACL, but I still remembered that foot in the hospital!!  Call if you need anything!!
