1st of all want to Thank all at the OTHG who helped me out, John & Lori Lombardo, Pete V  and Bruce A. for getting all my equipment home.  Rick Aldridge for telling me he was taking me (he saw the crash siad I auggerd in ,instant stop) to the hospital and Visiting me Sun. Bruce for not running me over and also stopping by the hospital after the weekend to see how I was doing.  I just got home today (sat ) at 5:00 pm.  the end result was 2 broken ribs left side, 8 broken ribs right side and 3 ribs had multiple breaks, Punctured/collapsed right lung. 1 other thing that happend while I was the hospital was on Tuesday at 9:34 my heart stopped 3 times. Why ?  I have a heart specialist appointment at Loma Linda on Tuesday. They were adamandt about installing a pace maker.  I had to make the call to my Uncle Jim a Nuerosurgeon in Seattle for advice on this. Hence like me, go to a top rated Medical facility Loma Linda (He's gotta love my calls on the weekend huh he has told to quit MX for 30 years) >  Any how eveyone keep it safe, you wont see me racing a bike in the comming races but I look forward to seeing everyon at Glen Helen and hope by then I will be able to crack some laughs with everyone again . I heard about this on Thursday and really felt for you and your family. The injuries to Chuck, Jim, you and others really seem to make it difficult to get excited to ride.
I know you are strong and will make it though but I will keep you, Chuck and Jim in my thoughts and prayers.

Loma Linda is just up the road from us.  If you or Diane need anything, please do not hesitate to call.  Take care, looking forward to seeing you very soon!!

Well at least he got to go to Loma Linda and was not stuck at the other hospital.  I know that was the plan to see the specialist there.

Bruce just called he was on the road, he just s/w Tim and Tim wanted a post put up to let everyone know how he is doing.  He is at Loma Linda Hospital and tomorrow on Friday 9/18/09 he will be having open chest surgery.  He had to go back to the hospital last Sunday they thought he had pnuemonia, but it turned out his lung collapsed again.  They put in another drain tube, but the lung will not drain, so that is why he is having surgery to find out what is causing the problem. Right now he only has 1/2 breathing capacity in his right lung.  According to Bruce, Tim said he will be fine and still plans on coming to the South National to cheer everyone on.

Wow, good luck tomorrow Tim!!
