When applied to bike maintenance if you leave an access cover open chances are good that Murphy is going to fish in your pond. A piece of dirt or a bolt or some other part is destined to fall in that opening. The probability of it being easy to get at are about 3%. The probability of it being teleported to an alternate dimension never to be seen again until it cost you money is 97%.
This weeks tip is to cover any access to your bikes engine with a bit of tin foil, plastic bag , tape or a rag. It is the best way to keep Murphy from fishing in your pond.
