Mechanic Monday tip of the week.

On a new 4 stroke MX bike there are more then a dozen electrical connectors. Each one basking in a life of dirt, pressure washers, soaps, corrosion and other unmentionables. When you disconnect a connector your bike will thank you if you clean it. Most brands of electrical contact cleaner work well, I do have my favorite.  Since this ins't a MX industry product,  it is worth mentioning the brand. DeoxIT D5.  You can find it online and some auto parts stores. It is both a cleaner and a lubricant that I have used for several years.
Its also good for your musical instrument's amplifier jack, car, airplane, robot, spacecraft, trans-dimensional device, whatever. Simply follow the directions on the can and plug the connector back in and Braaappp away.
