Will the course be lighted, or is headlamp required?
Also, there is an "ironman" class. Does that mean the other classes are a team event?

A headlamp required and more lights added to your helmet.
Yes teams or ironman.

I wanted to do the night race also but my Baja light fell off ... won't be able to have it remounted in time for this race.
