Banquet photos ending the 2019 season

Richard Hurtado happily hands off the coveted Jimbo Holman sportsman of the year award to Mr. James Kibbe – 2019!

Bill Schultz receives the a lifetime achievement award and finishes 21st for the season of racing.
Competing in the 65 intermediate class.
Good going Bill, long overdue and you deserved it.
Bill receives free membership for life with this award.

Bruce Ashmore received the most inspirational award 2019 from Richard Hurtado. Because, Bruce is not just positive,
what he's doing with his MX life and how he's enjoying the California MX world while having fun.

Nick Stern hands off the hard luck award to David Blunk for 2019.
David was in first place and was called away to other work related duties in mid-season.
David podiumed in 11 out of 11 early/mid season races.

The observed most improved rider of the year was Mr. Mark Smith for the 2019 season .
He competed in all 5 2-day nationals and 6 local races to earn the award for most improved rider.
He also attended the OTHG bowling tournament in july 2019.
Mark moves upward onto the novice class for 2020.

Richard Hurtado awards the coveted Mark Martin rider of the year award to Richard Young 8g. 38 novice rider Richard Young won the rider of the month competition. Which was decided by the board between the riders of the month winners. Richard only missed two events the entire year and completed tooth and nail at Cahuilla creek with 30 novice James Kibbe another rider of the month recipient .  Richard also competed against Steve Lerma Jr , Alex Paven , Tim Gruter and Les Griffin, to name a few.

Rick Johnson receives a 222g jacket.

Bryan Cranfill runner up in most improved rider category for 2019....looking for Bryan to pick up the pace in 2020.
Bryan makes the top 25.

Top score keeper Criss "too tall".

Pat Samudio coming back to over the hill gang after a few years of being away and meet Charlene potential 30nd board operator for the 2020 over the Hill gang South national!
