Mechanic Monday... Tip of the week.
Getting it together.
Wheel spacers, shims, special washers are just a few of the items on your bike that need to go back together in the same location they came off of.Some items such as wheel spacers of different sizes can be marked with an engraver with and L or an R. Another option is to make one small punch mark for left and 2 small punch marks for right. for items that are easily lost or their assembly order could be jumbled up a zip tie or safety wire can keep them in place until needed.
