So they are doing national points different than the last two years?

The nationals are scored as 10 individual races. That was voted on and agreed on by all 5 chapters. The nationals occur on 5 weekends. There are 10 days of racing and 20 motos that must be raced in order to win the National championship.

This is different than just two years ago. When the overall winner for the weekend would be awarded just 35 points. Now a weekend National is worth a maximum of 70 points. Again, all 5 chapters voted on this and it was passed 3/2. The South was the deciding vote on this issue.

Just wondering after looking at the bylaws for both local and national races they have not been updated since 2016 for the Nationals and 2017 for the local races I think it would be good to have them updated to reflect all of the changes that have happened so you don't have any grief from members
