Scott Slager. Mark Smith. And I forget his first name but he’s a MX vacation guy. Demarco all got carted off  Today. I wish them all good vibes. Slager the most he took a bad spill. He’s in ICU at AV hospital.

I heard Scott has a broken sternum and brain-bleed, which is not good. He'll be at AV for a few more days and off the bike for a while, possibly 9+ months. Please keep him in your prayers and thoughts.

Sounds like it was a rough day for some! Hoping for a fast and healthy recovery for all!!

Looking over the lap times, it looks like there was some good racing too!!

Thank you all for your prayers and help. Laying on the track and not being able to breathe or get up is a very scary feeling. Bruised sternum sore ribs back and hip,but no broken bones. To the EMT’s, ambulance crew, the doctors, nurses at the hospital and to all my gang members thank you.

Thanks to all who help me the day of my accident. Special thanks to Eric Gooselaw for coming to the hospital and staying till my wife got there. Special thanks to Starr who took my van to her son's house. Special thanks to Rich Young and Brian Brimhall for driving to Palmdale on Monday and picking up my van and taking it to my house
I ended up with 4 broken ribs around sternum, a small hematoma on the brain and 3 compression fractures on my vertebrae (1 being unstable). I spent 1 day in trauma, 2 days in icu, & 3 days in regular care. I  came home last Friday night. I am getting better day by day. Went back to work yesterday for a few hours. Thanks so much for all your thoughts and prayers. Scott Sligar
