Can I ask why after 40 years the name changed from Beginners to Amateur?

I understand the Masters to Elite.

Was this voted on and past by the club?

I would assume since the class names are part of the bylaws it would need to be presented to membership?

  Why are you fixing things that aren't broken.. I don't see any reason for the name changes..

Amateur = Beginners
Elites = Masters
Lites = under 27

Things seem to be done differently now. We would have always had this as an end of the year discussion and for sure would have been tabled till the next meeting for open debate.

To All:

I posted on the Member's Only forum with regards to this situation, amongst others.  Probably a good idea to take a look and chime in, regardless of whether or not you agree with me.

In the end, it will get the member's voices heard. Speak up, or forever hold your peace.... 😉
