Hello, I want to get some input on the Tusk wheel sets rim and hub ,if any club members run them ,what do you think. I'm not a big jumper, but I do flat land a lot when not clearing big table tops.
It's either Tusk wheel sets for about $520.00 or I go big and spend a good $1,400 give or take on excel or talon wheel sets.

I would spend the bucks. I have broke several rims and hubs.
Ask yourself if its worth the risk to save $700.

From the reviews and riders I know who have them. They like them and have held up fine the only complain was that the bearing don’t last as long. But they just upgrade them to own bearing and like any rims you buy. Just keep an eye on your spokes and they will be fine.

I had them for my husky and 0 problems. Just put a set on my Yamaha 450. They seem fine to me, but I follow a strict routine that I follow with any wheel. I almost tried dubya, but they want to sell me wheels strong enough for SX, I don't ride SX. LOL

Thanks Scotty ! I don't mind paying a little more. Are these wheels good, Talon rim and hub, 850 bucks for the set at Motosports

Google reviews. Then be happy with the whatever you get. Avid Cycles will hook you up with tires, rotors etc , they support othg members. It's run by 2 very knowledgeable riders/racers.
I love new wheels.

Thanks again scotty, I'm checking reviews on rear rim size now 1.85 and 2.15 . Looks like the tusk rear rim comes in a 2.15 only for my 250f. Anyhow I'll do my home work, thanks again . My stock front rim has a small flat spot.

Nothing but bad reviews on Warp9 and Prowheels
But I see guys like Scotty, Erokin and a few other fast guys using Tusk wheels with no issues

The only issue i've read was they were a little heavier than stock.

Thanks for the info, I did hear the tusk are a little more weight, I will probably go with Excel.
