The South chapter does not pay out money on the local races.  It’s amature status in all the classes at all South local races.

Not related to medical coverage but was dropped by both Geico and Progressive on my street bike insurance. Reason was "Registered AMA Offroad Racing Member" Uninsurable. This was with zero claims, no tickets, accidents clean record... There will be no Geico Honda stickers going on my new crf lol

which is kind of funny that both companies back pro racing

i insure my street bike through them and I have never seen any letter....odd. hopefully they dont send me one.

Notice came shortly after registration at big 6 series race where ama membership is required

I insure with both those companies Geico on my street bikes and Progressive on my truck, I think I'm going to have to look into this cuz I plan on doing Mammoth and that's an AMA race.
