If you are a current member you should be visiting the Members Only Forum for information pertaining to the 2018 OTHG Board Member election.

If you do not have access to the Members Only, please email Michael Long your name and bike number requesting access at web.director@othgmx.org.

It's that time of year again, board election time. Nominations will be accepted from August 19th. until 5:00 PM on Sept, 17th, then a vote will take place if more than one member volunteers for a position. Nominees who have accepted the nomination will be posted here. To nominate someone for office, the nominee must either be present when nominated or have agreed to serve in writing.

To be eligible to vote you must be current members in good standing.

You can pick up a ballot and vote in person Oct 22nd. at Sunrise MX.

You can request a mail in ballot by emailing Keith Brockmann at statistician@othgmx.org
All mail-in ballots must be posted marked by Oct. 22nd.

There will be a special meeting Nov 15th. at Larry's Pizza to count ballots and reveal the 2018 Board.

At this time I'm not sure who plans on coming back for 2018.

As you can see there are many positions. Now is the time to volunteer and give some time to your fellow racers. The jobs descriptions are listed in the OTHG bylaws, but I will give a brief description.

President...The Boss responsible for all functions of the club. Ensure all members of the board are functioning correctly and in the best interest of the membership.

Vice President...With our club, the VP is the assistant to the president and coordinates all events of the National in regards to fundraising, vendors, meal, and raffle. Usually assisted by a national committee.

Race Director...Responsible for race day events. Class maintenance (evals, promotions, etc) handling of protests.

Secretary...Take minutes at club meetings, maintain member list.
Treasurer.. Maintain the bank account. Advise the president on cash flow.
Statistician... Maintain club points
Web Master... Maintain the website
