Race Weekend Recap Milestone MX

Well after eight long weeks off for a summer break everyone was ready to get back to racing and what better place to start back at the Milestone MX Park.
Saturday the weather was not bad mid to upper 80’s. The track was busy with lots of riders shaking out the cob webs and getting use to the new layout and tuning it their bikes for race day.
In the afternoon there was our third members meeting of the year we had 35 members show up that's a new record lots of topics were discussed at the meeting. I will have them up soon after the meeting a lot of riders went back out on the track to make those last adjustments for race day.
Sunday morning race day the weather was great and  sign up was busy with lots of riders eager to get that first gate drop of the day .We had 97 riders sign up and six were new members they are Clyde Adams, Weston Fisher, Carlos Betancourt, Jamison Carrick and Charlie Solano welcome to the OTHG.
The races saw some good battles in the 30 Int. Clyde Adams Jamison Carrick and Lance Carr battled hard for 1st place with Adams taking the win Carrick 2nd and Carr 3rd.
In the 38 Nov. Matt Tallman show them how to get it done going 1-1 nice job Matt. With Rich Young 2nd and Kawika Storch 3rd.

The 45 Beg. New member Charlie Solano went 1-1 with Scott Hyers 2nd and Michael Pass 3rd.
The 30 Nov. saw a great battle for the win with Nick Stern 1st Jeff Bower 2nd and Andrew Hsieh.
The 45 Int. saw David McCathy 1st Mike Cimmino 2nd and Jeff (Air) Hamblin 3rd

So another day comes to a close next race Hollister Hills Bay National if you didn’t sign up your going to miss a great time.

Yes , Steve... A good race day.
Nice to have some new riders with more racing battles going on .
A very fun track and layout and challenging for all skill levels.
Seemed like there was a pro was in support class (awfully fast).
