Went today to check out the new track layout. Nothing much to tell. All they did pretty much was take out the big triple coming down the hill. Replaced it with a left hip type jump and up to the hair pin turn to a table and back to the straight to the finish line.

I would have to say it is now a much slower track. They tightened up the lower / infield with turn after turn after turn. Personally I liked the faster layout. But I will be there next Sunday ready to work!

Think "corner speed," rather than "pin it and hope for the best". The track is not shorter. Lap times will be longer because the track is now more technical.

i think the old layout was a tad too wide open anyway, so a little slower could be a good thing.
Either way I am excited to be there and racing and hanging with my friends 🙂
