Dave Ryan
Age...54
Hometown: St Pete FL, moved to Oregon, where he lived for 20 years before relocating to California.
Dave is a retired form Alaskan Airlines where he was an aircraft mechanic.
Started working at Yamaha 1977 and leaned a lot, has always done motorcycle repair shop as a sideline business.
Type of Bike..Yamaha
Sponsors...I don't have anyone that sponsors.
How and when did you get into MX...I got into riding when I was about 14, and took a break late 90's and started windsurfing.
What's the hardest thing about MX for you...straight ruts, corners are great but straight ruts I might as well just get of the bike and push the bike.
What's your greatest accomplishment to date? Tons of amazing friends, racing is fun but the people are GREAT!
What riders come to mind and what are your thoughts on your competitive opponents? I'm a back of the pack rider so if at any time I can race against someone from corner to corner, then I have a big grin on my face!
What other sports do you enjoy doing? MOTOCROSS, when in Oregon I did a lot of Arenacross and won the Arenacross Vet Championship, 3 Years ago.
Shout outs and thank yous? Mike Maciel.. I really like helping out at the races and working with Mike Maciel is great. I really enjoy how smooth the OTHG events are run. Everyone really cares!!
