Mechanic Monday... Tip of the week.
Isn't it great how long the chains of the last few years last and how few adjustments they need after the initial break-in. My records show about 80 hours of MX use before replacement. With all of this Chain joy there is another problem. The chain adjusters made of steel are threaded into an aluminum swingarm. Steel and aluminum don't play well together and corrosion can form binding up the threads. This weeks tip is next time you have the rear wheel off remove the adjusters and add some anti-sieze or grease to the threads.

Anti-seize is better to use than grease. The grease does tend to break down from washing your bike unlike anti-seize.
