Forum Help: Seeing what topics have new comments

For all those who view the forum frequently, you may or may not know of a nice little feature provided by word press.

There's a link at the top left of you forum header that reads Show unread posts since your last visit.  When you click on this link, you will only see the topics that have been updated since your last visit!  When you go through the shown links, one by one, you will need to scroll/jump to the last page of the post for this feature to acknowledge you've read the most recent posts.  Click the forum link again after you've read a post and you can see your list reduced! 

If you've never done this before it will take a while for you to get through all the posts (it took me about an hour since I've been on the forum for many years) .. but I think you'll find it worthwhile to do!

What I've done on my computer is setup a shortcut for the "Gang Forum" with these properties: http://othgmx.org/smf/index.php?action=unread   That way I go directly to seeing what's happening with one click!
