So the song says it never rains in southern California. Do we race regardless of the weather? I don't mind racing in the rain, especially on a sandy track. But it does take a lot of the fun out of it. So just wondering what the club has done in the past when the weather and the race dates don't want to play well together.

Milestone is probably my favorite track - even while I'm hurt! ;D Unfortunately, it doesn't hold water very well. I'd wait on the board members to make a decision regarding the weather and racing. Once the club takes practice, we are liable for the track fees regardless of whether or not we actually race. I'd surmount that they'll make a call closer to the weekend that will be in the best interest of everyone.

Agreed, Milestone is a great track, but as slippery as snot when it rains. 4 race Winter Series ?

Guys, check out the post that was just made in regards to Sunday. The policy with Milestone, is that if they are open for practice, we race. If they close, we dont race. However, good tracks require the support of the members, so please plan on attending this race!
