My pleasure Matt. I wanted to secure as many tracks/dates as possible before I turned this monster lose!!!! If need be, race venues may change do to conflicts etc, RACE DATES WILL NOT CHANGE! WE WILL RACE ON THE DATES ESTABLISHED ON THIS SCHEDULE!
Rich
I just want to get all my vacations put in so that I am not denied for waiting too long. Again thanks for getting this out 🙂
Thanks Rich for your efforts, that is one awesome schedule.
For those who have not raced a National.....You should treat yourself once. Put in for some vacation time, make the arrangements and do it. I am telling you, once and you are in forever. These weekends are the best times, where the large gates are, where the good food is, and awesome raffles too. Not to mention different tracks up north. And you get to meet all the racers from all the other chapters. Great people everywhere.
Lets make 2016 an epic one for all of us.
See you at the banquet.

I LIKE IT
The schedule looks really good with a lot of fun tracks. Thank you for posting it so early. I suggest filling one (or more) of the TBD dates with "AV Motoplex", if that's possible. I can't wait for the 2016 racing season to begin on Jan 31st at Milestone.
Its to bad that OTHG and OTMX have there Nationals on the same weekend. Both clubs will lose some riders. I have been a member a long time and this is the first time this has happened. I like to ride both. Is it possible to make a change?
Frank
Frank, with all due respect the OTHG South National did NOT CHANGE dates. Venues yes, dates no! It was the OTMX that elected to move their national to the same weekend as OTHG. Asking the OTHG to change our date to accommodate the OTMX who changed their date is disappointing to say the least! Why would the OTMX change to the same date as the OTHG National and then think we would be willing to change our date to accommodate them?
I would ask the OTMX this, if the OTHG had changed to the same date as the OTMX International, and then the OTMX was asked to change dates to accommodate the OTHG, how would that go over with the OTMX? I'm pretty sure it would not be well received.
The OTMX president (John Croft) was asked directly at the December OTHG meeting why the OTMX moved to the same weekend as the OTHG, his reply was that "the date they previously had was just not working for the club!" So, how does changing dates and scheduling the OTMX International on the same weekend as the OTHG National work out better for the OTMX, obviously it does not!
So, two vet clubs who depend on the same demographic of riders find themselves at a crossroads! I will agree with you that the scheduling conflict will have a negative effect on both clubs, and that does neither club any good. At the end of the day, OTMX elected to move their date to the same weekend as the OTHG National, which the OTHG cannot do anything about that. With all that being said, the OTHG will put on a great national at one of the best facilities in So California. I hope you will be able to attend and race with the OTHG MX, The Premier VET MX Club.
