Hello all,

Just wanted to post a quick thread and introduce myself.  I am currently with the sierra chapter up north but will be moving to southern cal in the next few days for work, and look forward to continuing my racing and riding with the south chapter.  I ride a rmz450 and just moved into the intermediate class this year.  I will be working down at March ARB, and will be living in the Menifee area.

I have never been to so cal for longer than about 6 days, so I am still learning the area, but look foward to meeting gang members, and especially look foward to riding some good tracks.  Thanks and have a great day.

Hi MIke!

We are glad to hear that you'll be joining us for some friendly vet-moto-ing!  Menifee is right smack in the middle of many MX tracks so you'll have to work out all the available choices!  You'll have Pala, Perris and Starwest being the closest to you in Menifee, but there a 5-6 other tracks nearby as well!  If you're interested I know of a good place of worship in Canyon Lake which might be close to you.

We have a race this weekend at AV Motoplex in Palmdale which is about 2+ hrs from Menifee if you have a break away from moving in.

Feel free to post on the forum if you want someone to ride with!

Try to make it to AV Motoplex this sunday for a OTHG South race and feel the heat we deal with day in and day out.

Hi Mike

We live in Riverside right by March ARB.  The planes fly over our house at times:)

My husband Jeff goes riding every weekend at these local tracks, mostly Milestone which is about 15 mins north of March. Look up Tim Hamblin he works at March ARB, he is our cousin, very cool dude.

Welcome to the OTHG South Chapter!

Hi Jeff and Karen,

I will have to look up and see if Tim will be working in my area on base.  I will be out on the C-17 ramp.

Mike, we have an amazing group of individuals that comprise the South chapter. It's very much a "come for the racing, stay for the camaraderie" type of club. I'm going on my second year and these people are definitely my second family.  Add to that the fact that, as Blake put it, you are moving to MX Heaven, I'm sure you'll aclimate just fine and without hesitation.  Plus, it's always warm.  ;D  Anyways, welcome to the South!!!!!!

Welcome Mike.  I live in Temecula, which is just about 15-20 south of Menifee.  Tracks around here are awesome!  So many to choose from you will never get tired of riding.
