Thanks OTHG for putting on another great event. Good to also see a lot of long time OTMX friends. The joint event deal really works well. A little bird suggested that we combine the common class's of the two clubs on one gate at the next event we have such as this. Each club would still score their respective riders per their finish against one another, so club points for those who care are not effected. Seems it might add another layer to the fun factor via larger gates, more and different competition, and the fun of bragging rights between the clubs and riders on who was the fast guy or gal in their class that day. Just the little birds two cents!

The only bad think is that you could not race with both clubs  ??? or could you?

A bunch of us raced with both clubs, the race directors did a great job to save people from back to back motos.
I am so knackered today.

  They did a great job on this . I expected back to back as usual .What a relief they did not.

Both clubs did a great job setting up the races. We should do this again. Somethings are run different so combining races wont work. Besides I want four motos. He He.

Thanks for the props Brian.  Flashes of brilliance can happen to any rider at any time, and my time was this past weekend.

It was great to see Art walking on his own power.

Also, a shout out to Bruce and Pete - both made me feel welcome when I joined the gang last year and I was glad to see them, riding or otherwise.

Anyways, it was a great event.  The track was fun and challenging, and it never really got too dusty.  Does anyone know if the current layout is the one we'll be racing at the National?

I thought the track was horrible on sat. practice and was cursing the crew for a horrible track and blamed mother nature for that heat and wind. Sunday morning practice i did much better and kinda had some fun and laid down the fastest laps. I just hope they aren't allowing other racing going on during our national that takes the track workers away to go prep another course. It is a good thing I don't run for a board membership, cause I would take OTHG away from this track to another track that doesn't have such a full plate.
But I had fun sunday cause the track was better and glad I got to see the gang and all, hope to see ya at AV.

The combining thing would be good except that the two clubs have slightly different age brackets. But it would work easy especially with electronic timing.

Although I like being able to race 4 moto's in a single day....
