The king of the works bikes, this 1985 RC250 ridden by Bob Hannah was the absolute pinnacle of pre-production rule factory bikes here in the US. Everything on it was 100% custom built and tailored specifically to the rider’s preference. This motorcycle was rumored to have cost Honda nearly $250,000 to build in 1985!
Makes you think that the 8-9 grand you spent on that new 450 isn't so bad now. These days all the bikes are so good and with some tweaking to personal preferences just as good as any works bike back in the day.
