You should be receiving you ballot any day now if you have not already received it.
Motion is as follows:
1. Each non South National will be a single event.
2. Flat rate of 25 points per event
3. Drops would be 4 from 3 , to reflect the non South Nationals (would not allow any local races to be dropped if you do not attend non south Nationals)
FYI - Banquet and Picnic would still be droppable events.

So if I attend all of the away nationals, and I attend all of the local races. And I score 26 points or better at the local level, my national points would be dropped?

Yes Chucky,
For us who go to the nationals to earn 25 points means that this motion really only changes the number of drops from from 3 to 4 and those drops will be the national weekends. It is another attempt to promote local attendance which I support. For the national attendees, which were up in numbers slightly this year if I am not mistaken, it means that we will have zero drops available for local events, which I don't support. This motion needs more points awarded for nationals or it actually penalizes the national attendees. This is probably my last and only year running a single digit. It's been fun.

Correct, though if you miss any local races the 25 points will count.
Right now we have only 4 that that have made all the local races.
