Well folks, It has become apparent to me that the tone of discussion around here has become too antagonistic & personal.
There is a discussion about possibly ending this forum because of the tone it takes.
While I do not feel as though that is directed at me it is quite obvious that my posts tend to evoke a lot of emotions in people.
Frankly, there are times when the anger that people have felt towards me has surprised me and in fact it has been emotionally taxing.
So I have decided that I will no longer post here.
I will continue to express my opinions to anyone who asks me and to my friends in the Club but
Since I seem to be a part of what is perceived as negative in this club I am going to retire from posting on the forums.
I will continue to race with the club and this does not effect my personal feeling about this club.

SL - you have been to meetings, it is no different than what happens in here sometimes, the attendees at the meeting get all worked up on some subject and all of a sudden the sky is falling.
If we can keep discussion on a productive intellectual level without someone getting their feelings hurt everthing should be fine.
I will see if the new board guys or anyone else for that matter want to be moderaters and they can have a try walking in my shoes.

I am sorry but with all of this BS the only thing I can say is
I WANT TO RIDE!!!!
Censorship is not the right answer either, Just maintain a common appreciation for one another. Many a times I have written something on the board, reread it and then deleted it. Felt good to get of my chest but really didn't need to be posted.
Have a comment or critique is fine just put a POSITIVE spin on it.
Like the saying goes "Got nothing good to say, don't say it"
We all care about the club and emotions shows in all ways.
All lot people read our boards and none of us want to discourage anyone from coming out.
