At the beginning of the season I decided to go for a top 10 jacket. It has been a tough one, as the new point structure has giving everyone that opportunity. But comes with racing all year long is injuries. Started off with dealing with 450 roost, $hit that stuff hurts, hit the ground at Milestone (twice!) resulting in a shoulder and knee injury, next I roll my ankle or as Chucky calls it Kankle. Over did my week leading up to our national and got heat exhaustion, Now I am dealing with a Sciatica Nerve pain in my left leg. (any suggestion on how to heal this would be appreciate)
On the plus side, I got to meet some new members, see some returning old ones too, having fun on the message board with my sense of humor, pissing some off with my sense of humor ::) , some great bench racing sessions with Chucky ;D, watching my son (Markus) become a better rider, man was he fast on Jay 450 and Just having an awesome time.
4 local races to go and I am hoping to stay in the top 15 at this point.

My year has sucked. But it is still awesome. Right when it seemed like I was getting in the goove, work got way too busy, and L
like a dummy, I didn't take care of myself. Thus Epstien-Barr has got me down for a few months. Hope to make it back for the GP in Novemeber.

Tracy, give me a call or just come talk to me the next time you come out. I know you couldn't make it to the national so I want to get you all taken care of (refund or comp). I think we may have saved a t-shirt for you too so come talk to us. I hope you feel better soon.

i have major sciatica,,,,,,,,ever since i broke my pelvis in half,,,,,,,,,,,for me stretching..advil...naprocin...and of course ICE ICE ICE ICE ICE.......................
i know this all too well.........this has kept me from racing more ...this year i have raced the least out of my 8 yrs of being a gang member............last year i got hurt at racetown
and i have some shoulder pain...........however for the racing i have done ..i have had a blast...................this season flew by for me...looking forward to some racing next year..
its been a good year cosidering .............
work , money , time and energy...................

Eighth O/A in the national series with one round (Tulare good track for me) to go!
42nd in the local series (before south national) with 4 rounds to go!
Beat my arch rival at REM and intend to humiliate him at the GP 😛

I've been an O.T. member for a long time, when the L.A. club folded I wasn't sure how to fill the void.
I started racing with the Gang for the first time this year. I've met some great people and had a blast.
But now the dilemma.
I still have a lot of O.T. friends and I enjoy racing with them, when there's no schedule conflict no problem, but when both organizations race on the same day I have to pick one or the other.
That's hard.

First part of the season my bike was broken. Then when it finally got fixed,I went long way from home. Hoping to make it to the last national....but I think I'll be missing it also...dam job........oooooo well thats the way it go's sometime.......

Hey whats up with the name change, ::)
OK here's the truth. I was so sickened by the level of B.S. side stepping and out right avoidance of anything resembling the truth on the thread that Jay started about bumping I deleted my account because I broke the "delete" key. And I was totally pissed off to see a new member completely disregarded in that manner. And to top that off, posts that I felt were relevant Albeit not politically correct were removed by the author. And even though it's that persons prerogative to remove such posts I smelled censorship. After I slept on it I decided I'm excited about next year and I dusted off Walt and changed back to Chucky

I was so sickened by the level of B.S. side stepping and out right avoidance of anything resembling the truth on the thread that Jay started about bumping I deleted my account because I broke the "delete" key. And I was totaly pissed off to see a new member completely dissregaurded in that manner. Got one race this whole year AV. And no ride since our last race at LACR. Oh yea and gained about 25lbs.
So next year I plan on getting my membership and doing as many races that my budget permits. And I will put in a early request for #717 if not taken.
