Out at Cal City Roger was asking about the new Dunlop MX 71's develop for hard packed terrain - in the latest issue of Dunlop Download there's an article on the newest addition to the Geomax line-up. Here's the link:

Old news, have had them for awhile now......they will work very well at most of the tracks we go to

I was recently asked for some information on the 71 and I'm just passing that along. Yes, the tire has been out for a while, but the actual technical information has been limited to date. This article explains the tire, position and development, thus answering some of the questions I was asked. In turn I thought others might find this piece informative as well.
The MX71 is an outstanding tire, as is the MX51 and those running the 51's should give it a try. I think they'll be quite happy with the overall performance of the tire and the compatibility with numerous local so cal tracks.

Pit Stop, I'm willing to switch from 51's to 71's my birthday is coming up so it's so nice of you to offer ;D and that reminds me I could use some help with the bike and such on race day 😀 so if you could mow the lawns and do your chores during the week to free yourself up for me on "racedays" that would be greatly appreciated :-*
