Hey Chucky,
Loved your TT500.
Here is one of the bikes that we race at Adelanto GP in the classic class. (1976 YZ 125)
I'll be on a 76 YZ 400. I'll upload a photo when I get a chance.

That's cool my second bike, first "dirt" bike was a 76 yz 125  like that  8) my first bike was a 71 Honda CB 100 street bike. Took all the lights off and put knobbies on it  ðŸ˜®

Great pictures!
That's the funnest part of the Adelanto GP, most everyone our age had a 76 yz, rm or elsinore . My first dirt bike was a 76 elsinore 125. They all want to take pictures and talk about the bike.
Too bad you weren't at Hollister this past year, my son was riding it around the pits to break in the new motor.
I stuffed a IT175 motor in it to make it easier for the GP's.
The only pictures I have from the old days are on a rm 80 wearing tennis shoes and blue jeans on the international track at Indian Dunes.
At least you had boots.
I'm still amazed that I never got hurt.

Yeah I had to go to the old photo album, here is the whole sequence I must have ended up with a straw berry. But I knew the camera was there  😉 in the last frame I look up and my cousin said " I got it all "  ;D

Good stuff.
Isn't it amazing how easily we were entertained as kids.
Things haven't changed that much.
My father is still angry that he bought us motorcycles as kids.
He never thought I'd be addicted to riding as I am.
I still have my first bike. A 1971 Honda SL 70. It sat behind my Dad's garage for over 20 years out in the weather. I brought it home rebuilt the motor and took it around the neighborhood.
Just the sound took me back to my childhood.
