Well, I guess going out to Glen Helen for the last three months every Thursday finally paid off. 
All those hours of driving to and from Glen Helen was finally worth it.  That was the only race I won all year when the temperature was above 50°.  Man I sure felt good afterwards and when I got to the bar that night I bought a round of drinks for everyone.  That sure made all of them happy ,too. Su and I did a new song duet that evening and the people in the bar actually applauded. What a blast!  What a great club and great event.  It was nice to see Kirk Schrader out there cheering the intermediates on.
